Last minute victory against a gritty Philadelphia team that seemed condemned to turn the ball over more times than not. Some domination on defense finally shone through after resembling swiss cheese in recent weeks.

A win is a win, welcome back to Rashard Mendenhall who breathed life into the running game once again, as well as a great performance from James Harrison in his first game of the year, not to mention Lawrence Timmons with his own breakout performance of 2012. Polamalu's comeback didnt last long before yet another injury occured and has me defiant that we must draft his replacement in the next draft, as sadly, we are watching the end of a Hall of Fame career at safety.

Next week, rather than getting our first real look at Jake Locker, we have Matt Hasselbeck and the Tennessee Titans instead, who we know all too well. Hasselbeck has never had much success against the Steelers, notably losing in Superbowl XL as a member of the Seahawks, and in the last few matchups we have easily had the Titans number. Keep CJ and check and lets keep that streak going.

Anyways, after going off a hunch that this would be a defensive battle, the victor of Week 5 was myself, my score of 17-13 just two points off the actual outcome, earning myself three points.

In second place for the week, and making his second appearance in the points was slatedog57 picking up 2 points after being only 7 points from the actual outcome.

Finally, a little tie for third place betwen Mechem, Mike Wallace Speed and the consistent championship leader SteelCityRoller, their respective scores all 11 points off the actual outcome, and each earning 1 point.

SteelCityRoller's fourth straight week in the points, very impressive, continues to keep sole possession of first place. Is five in a row in the cards? Or can the competition administrator (aka. ME) leapfrog into first place?
