It seems the negativity among Steelers fans after Pittsburgh's 26-23 loss at Tennessee in Week 6 drove running back Rashard Mendenhall to anger.
A notorious but now infrequent Twitter-ite, Mendenhall lashed out at fans who were "talking trash" about the Steelers.
Seriously, if you're gonna talk trash about your team and everyone on it, don't call yourself a fan. A fan is a supporter...

Mendenhall made a stir after the 2010 season for a variety of... interesting...opinions on current events.
It isn't overly newsworthy, and while fans seem to have their own way of defining what is and what is not acceptable fan behavior, Mendenhall will likely take some flak for this.
Fans are capable of supporting their teams while expressing frustration and anger, particularly after their team blew another fourth-quarter lead - something the Steelers have done in each of their three losses this season.
At the same time, Mendenhall delivered a tactful and fair message, "if you aren't for us, you're against us."
Fans, just like players, deserve to be called out, too.
