NFL Week 7 Early Games Open Thread: Waiting for Sunday Night Football

Dilip Vishwanat

Long time until the Steelers kick off against Cincinnati. What games are you watching?

I swear I had some kind of gimmick for this thread planned this week, but I forgot what it was.

I do know I've got a Google Hangout planned for sometime around 6 p.m. ET for anyone who wants to join in. There will be a few people on, and we'll figure it out as we go.

If you're interested, hit me up on Twitter (@nealcoolong) or email me (address in profile).

As it is, Ravens at Houston has to be the early game of the week. Terrell Suggs ran a few warm-ups, which of course caused the heavily educated national media to make outrageous claims like "he looks fast!" while doing 10 yard shuffles.

The fact he's on the field warming up doesn't mean anything. Let's wait and see how his leg is healed when taking on the cut-blocking Texans. I'd hate to suggest the Ravens are simply having him warm up to give their team a shot of confidence in wake of losing two key defensive players going against a great running team (running was something they couldn't stop even with Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb), but....I can't think of another way to end that sentence.

Anyway, NFL Week 7 open thread, let's get after it.
