It's a huge game for both teams. Break it down any way you'd like the fact is the Redskins, in the competitive NFC, need a win to reach .500 and to keep pace with the winner of today's Dallas/Giants game.
The Steelers, seeing a wide-open AFC fall before them just as they see a slow start have a less damaging effect than they may have thought initially.
Put simply, the loser will fall deeper into a hole, out of which they may not be able to climb. The winner creates much more leverage for themselves as they hit the middle of the season.
Why this isn't FOX's national game is beyond me. This one is going to be outstanding.
