Per NFL.com, The Rams are showing their best player...Um...EVER the respect he deserves by allowing him to jump ship next year.
Jackson was due to make 7 mil next season under his current contract, and it seems like the Rams FO don't want to pay him that much, and are content to let him test the waters. Maybe he'll finally play for, oh...I dunno...A CONTENDER?
What say you, Steeler Nation? Should the Steelers take a flier on a 30 year old running back that's dinged up a bit?
I, for one, always thought he "ran like a Steeler", if you get my meaning. Besides, anyone remember what happened the last time the Steelers lured a big, powerful RB away from the Rams? Not saying this will end up the same way, just something to think about.
