- Clearly a breakout game by Timmons. Is it a coincidence that this happens when Deebo comes back or was Timmons holding back to backup the actions of the rookies playing the first few weeks?
- Worilds finally got some production from the left side of the line. Not sure how good that end of the Philly line is but the results are somewhat encouraging. Nice to see coaches having confidence to run more overloads vs earlier games IMO.
- Titans game should be right in our wheelhouse with poor defense vs run and the pass, very bad running offense and an only average pass attack. Hopefully we can roll them and get a mini bye week.
- Sly was back this week so the cut when Saunders is back might not necessarily be a TE. Could be Brandon Johnson perhaps. If Woodley's injury is minor and Harrison continues to do OK, We'd have a lot of LB on the team as it stands now.
- For a guy with only 8 defensive snaps, I'm noticing McLendon a lot. I'd like to see him more.
- Good to put some mistakes on film and still get away with a win to keep the urgency up this week in practice.
- Stylistically Mendenhall may have benefited from he knee injury. Before the injury, he was prone to spinning around and running backwards into contact. With the bum knee he's not doing much spinning which has the added benefits to running forwards vs backwards A) permitting a stiff arm, B) seeing where you are going, C) running there faster.
- Refs absolutely sucked. The Steelers should get 2 wins for Sunday having beaten the eagles and the zebras. It's one thing to miss a call because you don't see something but quite another to call penalties for things that just didn't happen. Maybe since the refs were out for a couple weeks they're making up for lost time trying to influence the game to make some side cash. There was a lot of sloppy play in the first half and I'm not blaming those calls on the refs but they really sucked overall.
- I can't stand Joe Buck and Aikman seemed worse than normal.
