Multiple reports are showing Plaxico Burress is back in the Black and Gold along with Brian Hoyer, former backup to Tom Brady. These are two quality signings in my opinion, as Hoyer has played well in limited action and Burress is one year removed from an 800+ 8 TD season. Burress can fill the void of the bigger possession receiver (Cotchery) while Hoyer gives the Steelers a comfortable backup behind Batch. It looks like Ben will be out at least another 2 weeks and Leftwich could be done for the season. Though Tomlin says Leftwich and Cotchery are not necessarily done for the season, there is less reason for optimism for them going forward.
