Jason Bridge-US PRESSWIRE

Some decent news out of the South Side as the Steelers begin practice for their Week 13 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Steelers started off the week of practice on a positive note, getting full practice efforts from Antonio Brown and Troy Polamalu, and a limited practice from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Polamalu hasn't played since the first quarter of the Steelers' Week 5 win over Philadelphia due to a calf injury that kept him out of Weeks 2 and 3.

Brown suffered a high ankle sprain in the Steelers' win over the Giants in Week 9, and has not played since. His return would be a huge boost to a sagging Steelers offense, struggling without Roethlisberger or Brown over the last two games.

Roethlisberger practiced on a limited basis and hasn't been ruled out for his own return to the field when the Steelers take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13. Add Jerricho Cotchery to the limited list. He broke two ribs in the Steelers Week 11 loss to Baltimore.

Not practicing and not expected to start are right tackle Mike Adams (ankle) and outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley. Also not practicing were LT Max Starks (back), LG Willie Colon (knee) and QB Byron Leftwich (ribs).
