Steelers at Giants in what could be one of the best games of the first half of the season

Having to wait is tough, especially seeing the division leading Ravens pull out a win over the pesky Cleveland Browns. That game could very well have gone either way.

No surprises among the Steelers' inactives, running backs Rashard Mendenhall and Jonathan Dwyer, along with quarterback Charlie Batch, safety Troy Polamalu, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert and defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu.

The key to this game is going to be possession. I'd bet the team running more plays will end up the winner. That means turnovers and time of possession will be critical, and the sharper offense against two not-quite-dominant defenses will be the determining factor.

From a larger perspective, the emotion the Giants will carry with them will be a force to reckon with, no doubt. The Steelers know there are plenty of their fans in the area as well, and their presence was anticipated in this game for quite a while.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin will be sure to remind them.

Kickoff is pretty much upon us, let's keep it clean in the forum, not panic or freak out and enjoy us some Steelers football.
