Steelers running back/kick returner Chris Rainey collapsed in the third quarter of the Steelers/Giants game in Week 9.

Steelers running back/kick returner Chris Rainey collapsed on the field after a kick return with 1:26 left in the third quarter after what appeared to be a hit to the head and chest by Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich. The hit came after Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz went down in the end zone after being hit in the hip by Steelers safety Ryan Clark.

Herzlich's hit did not draw a flag, Clark's did.

Rainey appeared to get off the ground alright, but stumbled when he returned to the sideline after the play.

The Giants lead the Steelers 20-10 in a game without the fireworks some expected. Big plays have been limited and it's been more marked by the relative dryness from each team's offense.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has an interception and a fumble, while Giants QB Eli Manning has an interception.

It looks like a close finish at MetLife Stadium, and it could go either way.
