Statuses of Brown and Rainey to be determined this week. Outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley played most of the Steelers' defensive snaps after missing much of last week with a hamstring injury.

It was a return to the injury-plagued Steelers way of business, as they lost two offensive players during their 24-20 win over the Giants in Week 9.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown left the game early on due to a mild high ankle sprain. He didn't return, and his status won't be known until closer to the Steelers' Monday Night game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Running back and kick returner Chris Rainey suffered a rib cartilage injury, and gave fans a scare as he collapsed after being hit in the chest while on the ground by linebacker Mark Herzlich.

Statuses for both players will remain unknown at least until Steelers coach Mike Tomlin's press conference Tuesday.

Both were replaced by WR Emmanuel Sanders; he was the team's kick and punt returner after Brown went down, and technically, Jerricho Cotchery filled Brown's position, but Sanders was the guy quarterback Ben Roethlisberger looked for on a big third down completion in the second half.

LaMarr Woodley was limited much of the week with a hamstring injury but he played the vast majority of the game, registering a sack of Giants QB Eli Manning on the Giants final series.
