As a football fan I am often amazed at the parallels between out two franchises. Both teams rose to their first taste of glory around the same time, both did so under men who focused heavily on the defensive side of the ball and thus has dominating defenses, and that both teams have renewed their runs of success in different eras under different mens leadership. Unfortunately for both of our teams that parallel has continued this season. We both are having issues with our offensive lines, both have seen issues at running back this season, and the injury bug seems to have taken an undue toll this season. Not suprisingly we both enter the weekend with with identical records and both find ourselves fighting to stay in the playoff hunt. One other thing we have in common...both teams are the type that you either love us or you hate us. There is not middle ground. I dont know about you but I wouldnt have it any other way.
