Just a few thoughts I have had watching the new offense this season.

While I do like the old running style coming back to the Steelers I say it is too soon.

To make my points :

We hardly had a offensive line to begin the season with.

A lot of our players are older and are injury prone. The running offense makes it a lot harder on our players.

Not to mention we hardly have any great running backs.

Not letting Ben be Ben. I firmly believe that is why Ben is hurt now.

The play in which he was hurt he was in the pocket and not being Ben. He was sandwiched in the pocket.

If this was the old play style of last year he wouldn't have been in the pocket playing dink and dunk.

The new offense was designed NOT to get Ben hurt.

You can't run a offense like this with the offensive line we have. You need Ben to be Ben.

While I do like Haley's offense.. Now is not the time. Not until we have a better offensive line.
