I like it, but I’d rather have Lindsay in the 5th.

Poe is not going to drop to 24 in the 2nd guaranteed...

And I don’t want Jeff Fuller. You thought Sweed was bad, this guy Fuller dropped everything in Senior Bowl practice and in the game. His routes weren’t crips and he looked slow out of his cuts. I’d rather bring back Sweed than get Fuller.

I second the notion

that there is no way for us to get Poe at 2.24.
But, we hopefully will be able to get Alameda Ta’amu at 2.24.

Good draft but..

Rather (and most likely will) have Ta’amu in 2nd. Also Rather Tank Carder in 4th and Cliff Harris in 5th. Liking the projection of a kicker in 6th because Suisham couldn’t kick a field goal over 45 yards to save his life.

Hicks and Blake

I don’t see DE/DT Akiem Hicks on your draft. Maybe I just missed him but I think he has potential to go a lot higher than 7th round considering the highest level coaching he had would have been junior college (I am under no illusions of the quality of coaching in the CIS).

I haven’t seen a lot about Phillip Blake from Baylor other than I know he is a C and is considered a non-import in the CFL. Could he play guard? Is he considered someone with a lot of upside?

Could he play guard?

Yeah but he is not going to be a starter just a really good back up

Is he considered someone with a lot of upside?

Unfortunately no. He does a decent job pass blocking but he plays high and over extends himself in the run game. I like Blake as a guy who can be better then Legursky as your first backup at both center and guard.

Lovely Ravens draft.

The first 3 picks would be ideal.

Way overrated Bruce Irvin

He cannot play the run at all, he is a pure pass rusher than rushes the passer on every play and takes himself out of the running lanes. Jullian Miller is a better DE than Irvin is and if JK Shaffer is still available by the time we pick I would be happy if we took him.

Players who should be in the Hall of Fame: Pat TIllman, Dwight White, Donnie Shell, L.C. Greenwood, Ray Guy, Steve Tasker, Greg Lloyd, Andy Russell, Cris Carter, Kevin Greene, Andre Reed and Jerry Kramer

You should be looking a little closer at a guy like George Iloka

Very good player for Boise State who had to play corner out of necessity this past season. He is very big for a safety at 6-4 ,220lbs, but he has very good hips and his cover skills got better this year after having to play at corner. Probably more ready to play than any other guy we could draft outside of Barron.

I think Barron is over rated

and like Iloka he is high cut so not the best at changing direction but he is big enough to cover TE and has experience in man to man coverage. If we consider safety in the first 3 I want him or Martin not Barron.

Huge fan of the Steelers. (that includes "Steelers West")
