Driveby Extra: Don't Sweat the Technique Version

I was looking over the events of the last few weeks and decided I needed to do a hip hop state of the Nation address. For those that aren't aware, whenever possible I do a post-game post during the season with a hip hop theme called "The Driveby Report". It was something I started a few years back to give my thoughts about the game in "bullet" format. The idea was to make it a quick "fire off the bullets" and keep going sort of view into the game.

This year I added a hip hop/rap video to the report that summed up how I felt about the game. Birthed out of this came "The Driveby Extra". This is a random report meant to be a message while at the same time entertaining old school hip hop fans. Since this may be my last one, I make tribute to my man 5020 "Fiddy", in this "Extra". I even gave Rebecca (MommaRollett) an ab shot in the last video.

The idea that the Steelers have problems at the top is getting a little outta Control.

You should know better by now. The organization knows what they want and they work together to do what is best for the team. They aren't afraid to take chances or do things a little differently when the need to do so arises. So don't sweat the technique.

Don't worry about Ben getting upset. I think the media just likes to spin things and make them "trend'. Besides the Steelers brass has no problem with problem children. They just put 'em in their place.

All this restructuring kinda makes me nervous. I know it has to be done, but I'll be glad when the debt stinks and the veterans are "paid in full."

I know there's been a lot of talk about free agents. I also know there isn't much to spend on them, but if a solid lineman with great upside and price tag comes along we need to "jump on it" like an Apache.

In the end, the Steelers will walk into the 2012 season and flex their muscles. They will point their finger in the face of the AFC North and say "I'm Bad." I know that was corny but I had to get my boy LL in there. Speaking of corny, this video is. The song is great though.

Have fun Steeler Nation.
