Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

I am not sure if this is true, but Jim Wexell thinks it is. That is good enough for me. The link is to a Mark Carman's twitter page. I am worried about how this will turn out, but maybe Haley will be good if he is trying to save his career.

I realize he's been a jag in years past...

…but he gets tabula rasa with me until he messes up with the Steelers.

He’s always been an aggressive coach, but he’s also a solid tactical coach who can harness talent well. His Cardinals’ teams were near the top of the league when he was there; perhaps that was because of Warner and Fitz, but given the amount of talent our offense has there’s no reason he shouldn’t lead us to similar success, at least as long as he keeps his temper in check.

Three 1,000 yard receivers...

…and Steve Breaston was one of them. Not that Breaston’s a bad receiver, but consider who was lining up across from him. I’m sure he’s already concocting schemes for Young Money.

Now, MY caveat is, what sorts of plans is he concocting for the running game?

Chiefs fan here

Looks like there are multiple sources on Twitter that are saying Haley is going to you guys.

As a fan base we are generally torn on whether we like the guy or not. Many do, many hate him, not much in between. I dislike him and his antics but will be interested to see what he can do with your offense.

He did well in AZ but only called plays for a year and a half after Wisenhunt felt comfortable with him. They made it to the super bowl but he did have a potential HOF QB in Warner and a great set of receivers in Fitz, Boldin, and Breaston.

He came to KC and really couldn’t do much of anything with our offense. He went through 3 OC’s in 3 years and called plays the first year and many think this year. The best offense we had was with Weis leading it last year. There was little to no consistancy on our offense and that’s mostly because of him. He got into arguments on the sideline with Cassel and a couple of his coaches and there were a bunch of other just weird stuff that happened with him. He didn’t just burn bridges here, he nuked them.

Big Ben is a good QB and you guys have a solid offense so it will be interesting to see how he does there and how he gets along with people.

Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.

Thanks for the input!

I have never been a big fan of his. We will see how it goes. Just have to trust Tomlin and the FO on this one.
