In an attempt to fill the vast and enormous empty space that is the offseason, I've devised a poll for us to get to know our fellow BTSCers.

Many of us have probably experienced this dilemma at some point. The Steeler game is on, but the girlfriend/wife has other plans, miserable boring plans that involve you not watching the Steelers. Things like walking outside, drinking herbal teas, attending amateur theater plays, and getting pedicures. Of course I don't want to generalize, I know the Nation has many an astute and educated female that can watch football and comprehend it. Though rare, these women do exist.

So who do you side with? Do you hold your ground and watch the Steelers regardless of potential consequences with your significant other? Or do you bend to his/her will and obsessively check your phone for score updates (an action I'd make illegal)?

Just for full disclosure, I live in Peru and women there have no idea what 'American Football' is. I hate saying American Football. To me it's like saying American Cheeseburger, is there any other kind? This sport they play with the little round ball on the ground isn't horrible but I'd put money down that James Harrison could singlehandledly win a fight against a full 11 man team armed with knives in an alleyway. Anyway, i have to deal with these girls who just can't comprehend my sport and refuse to accept it.

I'm proud to say I've never missed a game for a woman and I have had my share of arguments about it. If Kate Upton offered to come over my house and occupy me instead of watching the Steelers, I'd politely decilne and offer a rain check.
