Depth at WR (Ode to Jerricho)

So, after the initial FA shark feed, Mike Wallace is still a Steeler. And even though the most likely candidates to relieve the B&G of his services have gone with other options, there still a lot of time left in free agency. But regardless of what happens with Wallace, it'd sure be nice to retain as much depth at wideout as possible, and it's tough to think of a better option for a #3 or #4 WR than Jerricho Cotchery. Of course $ is a factor, but there's also value for your cap $ to consider, too. Gotta hope he's able to be on the field more than last year, but the guy plays like a Steeler. So.....

(the "poem" is after the jump)

Word.

His name is Jerricho

He's awesome, don't you know

'Cause when it's third and six

His catches move the sticks

He came here from the Jets

Now Gang Green has regrets

He joined the Black And Gold

Let's keep him in the fold

Since Big Ben's rookie year

Though just one season here

Been playin' mighty fine

He's number 89

Too bad that Hines is gone

But time goes marching on

Line Cotch up in the slot

He'll give it all he's got

So Kevin, Khan and Mike

I hope these rhymes you'll like

Enough to ink a deal

'Cause Jerricho's for real

Resign yourselves to fate

Re-sign someone who's great

We might reach football heaven

Lombardi number seven

LET'S GO, F.O.

DON'T MAKE ME CROTCHETY

BRING BACK JERRICHO

JERRICHO COTCHERY
