For anyone interested, I've put together a spreadsheet of the Steelers current roster, with salary cap values, roster management issues, etc. Will be keeping it updated throughout the offseason.
You can find it here:
It's just a guess, but I expect the team will find the money to resign Cochery, Gay (if not signed by someone else), and at least Leftwich (maybe Batch). Meaning that another contract or two will have to be restructured or a player released (S Allen as an example). And with the need to cover TE's, the lack of depth there, and the slim pickings at ILB after the top couple, I expect Hightower to be the man, but who knows, a lot can change between now and the draft.
Concerning Jerricho: think he has been highly underrated throughout his career, and if resigned, will see a lot of quality play from him going forward.
