Obviously, if an issue arises that Mr. Bean feels strongly enough to comment upon in this manner, given all that he is doing for SB Nation in NYC, then his comment and the issue precipitating it warrant my attention and due consideration.

It was never my intent to hi-jack any thread, nor interject off-topic issues, nor thwart or suffocate differing opinions than mine. Obviously, however, the ongoing posts alluded to in Mr. Bean’s message had some, or all, of those effects.

As a result, to those of you to whom my actions offended, irritated, or otherwise detracted from your expected and rightful experience at BTSC, I apologize.

I make no apology for the language I used in my posts, nor for the positions and opinions that I expressed. I am over-all a rather laid back person. But when confronted, I do respond; when my tolerance is reached for the incessant posting of political, constitutional, and economic criticisms and diatribes, directed either towards me the individual, the community I inhabit (BTSC), or my country, I do respond.

I do find it difficult not to rise to the defense of my beliefs, and my community, whether my community wants or needs my defense. It is for this I also apologize to my fellow BTSC denizens, for presuming to act or speak in your name with such repetition that such postings of mine are considered a "feud".

My positions on the issues precipitating this feud are now known (ad nauseam); I will forebear from responding to any future such postings on such issues unless specifically directed towards me, the individual.

Again, my apologies to you, my fellow BTSC members, and to Mr. Bean, for contributing to this issue to the point where it became an issue.
