If the Steelers bring in Poe, work him out, check his references etc and then draft him, in the spirit of " in the FO we trust", I'll be really excited knowing that we've got a really solid prospect at a position of need.
We know that Colbert's record in the first round has been probably the best in the league. Players he's picked have been at the very least, solid contributors. He's not shooting for the moon, but rather picking good proven players who fit our system.
Since Poe has UDFA film tape (Edit : Realistically mid round) and First round Combine stats, he's an unknown commodity. Clearly the team will ultimately know more about him than we ever will in the next three weeks. However there's a chance they'll never have the level of comfort with him needed to pull the trigger in round 1. I don't think it's a stretch to say that a boom or bust player is not on the Steelers board for round 1.
Will the full understanding that we trust the FO etc, as armchair GM's and Draftnik speculators, do you think Poe has a round 1 grade on the Steelers draft board?
