I was fortunate to experience a huge change in my wife a few years ago...This great change happened because of our Steelers and during a steeler game...more after the jump

My wife was the 2nd biggest Cowboy fan I've ever known. So for the first 8-10 years of our relationship, I ate alot of cold dinners, enjoyed a lot of football sunday's smiling by myself and basically was made to suffer due to the success of our steelers. That Jerry Jones constantly couldn't get out of his own way and maybe the fact that I constantly let her know about it, made football season pleasant and painful. Dec 6th 2008 changed all that...Now being the good hubby I am, I scored some tickets to the cowboys game so we could both watch our teams live...The weeks leading up to the game....nice!!! I even got the wife a brand new stadium jacket to wear at the game. The first half was tough, dallas moved the ball between the 20's at will. The wife was in my face talking much smack!!!! The guys around us were like 'dude ur wife is killing us'!!! She was surprised to see so many 'boys' fans in the burg, several couples, like us, with one spouse for us and one agin us....By the middle of the 3rd quarter, I started to see a change...Every sack by Deebo, a small cheer...3rd down completion by Ben, a yes....by the 4th quarter, this woman was cheering every positive play our steelers made!!! The guys sitting around us were now turning around and high 5ing with her more than with me!!!!!! When D town int'd Romo to ice the game, she actually jumped up and down!!! As we braved the cold going back to the hotel, the wife says to me....'dont tell our friends but I love the steelers!!! dallas sucks!!' She bleeds black n gold now and makes sure we get tickets to at least 1 game each year....Yup, the power of the steelers
