The Ravens just took a huge blow to their hopes this season. While working out in Arizona, Baltimore Ravens linebackers/defensive end and reigning Defensive Player of the Year Terrell Suggs, well known as a Big Ben destroyer, torn his achilles tendon. You can read about it here.

I'm never one for rooting for someone to get hurt (at least not for more than the game we are currently playing them in), and I hope Suggs recovers and doesn't suffer any long-term damage from this injury. I don't know if that's a common thing, since I know nothing about it, but it's still hard to ignore that the Steelers' path to the division title and the playoffs just got a lot easier. Suggs has been playing incredibly well against the Steelers lately, and has a strong track record of making Ben's life somewhat hellish. This can only make it easier, as Suggs was by far the Ravens best pass-rusher and one of their most outstanding players.
