It's the real start to training camp, as the players will hit the field at 3 p.m. ET in shorts and helmets. Ok, so maybe it's still not real football, but we're going to keep feeling like it is.

It's also the opening ceremonies for the Olympics in London, which will be televised later this evening. That could be...fun...to watch...

Some news-hitters so far: Kirby Wilson is back. "Minor" injuries to TE Heath Miller and NT Alameda Ta'amu. And the breaking news of the day, Mike Wallace is not (at the time of writing) in camp. Did you hear he's holding out?

Speaking of holding out, it's Friday afternoon. All of you who aren't getting paid what you want should stop working and instead, air your grievances here on Behind The Steel Curtain's Friday Training Camp Open Thread.

Or maybe not air your grievances as much as weigh in on the Steelers-related topics of the day, post Tweets, crack jokes and whatever else, because, let's me honest, it's what you do.

And I promise, eventually, we'll have new and current pictures.
