I'll be on Trib Live Radio with Daniel Dudley somewhere around 7 p.m. ET this evening to talk about any last minute breaking news that may have come out before the Steelers take on Indianapolis in preseason football.
Nothing really happened, right?
Oh, yes, our fill-in outside linebacker and primary back-up to both inside linebacker positions is out maybe two weeks of the regular season. No need to be concerned, though. Brandon Johnson serving as the back-up to Chris Carter outside and a rookie backing up both ILBs isn't an issue.
Maybe there's an iron-sharpens-iron relationship here somewhere.
Tonight's game just got a whole lot more interesting, though. While it's likely the team was aware of this news long before it came out, the pressure is really on the deeper, roster-fringe linebackers now. It's an opportunity for them to show they can cut it at this level.
I'm sure DD and I will talk all about it, so log on, give it a listen.
