NFL Reporter Adam Caplan tweeted Friday afternoon he's hearing the Steelers will keep OLB Adrian Robinson on its 53-man roster.
Caplan, from the Philadelphia area, is familiar with Robinson from his time at Temple. Robinson was an undrafted free agent acquisition by the Steelers this offseason, and has had an outstanding preseason and training camp.

The "for now" part of his tweet likely means exactly that. With the Steelers' tenuous depth position, particularly in coverage units, Robinson is likely being added to the 53-man roster for Week 1, and depending on the return of LB Stevenson Sylvester, will be cut after it. Sylvester will make the 53-man roster but will not be active in Week 1.
It remains to be seen who Robinson would be cut for, but at the very least, he looks like he'll be a guy the Steelers will keep an eye on as his career continues.
