I figured I'd put this post up since one of the BTSC faithful here by the name of Steel Spike put up a thread on BGN.

Preseason. What does it all mean? Meaningless football? So what's the point in even watching it, right? WRONG!

I actually enjoy PS games because you get to evaluate some of the backups on the team. I can't say I'm a big fan of playing teams you play in the regular season during the PS though. (We play yints Week 5 at your house, if yints weren't aware.)

As you can imagine, it's a rough time for the Eagles right now. The passing of Andy Reid's son is very tragic, and it clearly has an affect not just on him but the whole team. Word is Andy is going to rejoin the team by Wednesday, so he should be at the game Thursday night, but he's not there it's likely OC Marty Mornhinweg would step up in the meantime.

So let us keep it respectful and enjoy each others company while talking some football. In the words of the great Steel Spike:

"Don't get all asshurt. This is supposed to be fun. Now....GO!"

Oh and NO INJURIES FOR EITHER SIDE, PLEASE!
