10 thoughts after week 2

  1. The receiving corps is just money. Miller, Ben and Brown were nearly flawless in week2.
  2. Good things happen when you check down to the RB versus the blitz. Still not Ben's first choice but hopefully he'll see the light.
  3. The team keeps getting Rainey touches. I think it's only a matter of time before he breaks something big. I like also that Haley isn't only putting him in for end around or bubble screen work but keeping the defense guessing
  4. Where are the fire LeBeau trolls this week? Defense adjusted and stiffened after the first couple minutes and dominated for the rest of the game.
  5. Jason Worilds has not shown up at all on pass rush and did not record a single tackle this week.
  6. I like that Haley is getting all the backs some touches. This should make them prepare better and develop on a faster pace than if they know they're going to ride the bench like last year.
  7. Willie Colon is still putting it together at Guard. We've played 2 decent defensive lines so far so he may break out soon versus a lesser team.
  8. It's hard to use Wallace to his best ability with the pass protection shakey. BA was oblivious to this and tried it anyway. Haley seems to be calling plays with a higher chance of success. Less of a score from anywhere offense but a more likely to score offense IMO. If the line can gel and improve, the the vertical pass game should be more viable.
  9. My 15 month old learned the sign and word for touchdown after the BB to Heath pass. Maybe his third word. Seems to learn better if I shout things at him. Kind of like a foreigner...
  10. Watching a bit of MNF last night and John Fox really seems like an ass arguing with the refs like that. Need to show some respect and work with the guys. They're not going to change a call just cause you get red in the face and bellow at them.
