Steelers vs. Raiders Second Half Open Thread: Steelers Lead 17-14 at the Break

Stay connected for news and updates

Ben Roethlisberger has two TDs so far - both of them to Heath Miller - and the Steelers offense has absolutely dominated the time of possession so far.

But Darren McFadden got loose for a 64-yard TD run on his first touch of the game, and the Raiders were able to force a late fumble in Steelers territory by Jonathan Dwyer and cash it in for a TD to Darrius Heyward-Bey to keep things close.

A successful two-minute drill, capped off by a 33-yard from Shaun Suisham, gave the Steelers the lead back going into halftime.

The two-minute drill could've, and probably should've, been even better though. Poor substitutions by the Steelers forced them to burn all three of their timeouts with more than 6:30 left in the second quarter.

We can still put this away, but can't let Oakland hang around for too much longer.
