BCS Championship 2013: Alabama vs. Notre Dame Open Thread

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

What should we watch for in tonight's championship?

It's finally here - the 2013 BCS Championship! A win tonight would cement Alabama's recent dynasty, having won two of the past three championships, while Notre Dame is looking to affirm their resurgence as one of college football's elite programs.

Top-ranked Notre Dame last played November 24, when they beat USC 22-13, and Alabama a week later, with a 32-28 victory over Georgia for the SEC Championship.

Got plenty of viewing notes for tonight's game:

- Seton's put together some great profiles on 12 Notre Dame/Alabama prospects, and Dan Kadar has notes on what to watch for from many of those prospects as well.

- Also, check out this piece on how a player's stock can be affected by a great performance in the title game.
