Brown, Allen, Clark receive top marks from Pro Football Focus

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The play evaluation web site graded Antonio Brown as the top offensive player for the Steelers, with Ryan Clark and Cortez Allen receiving the top defensive grades in Pittsburgh's 19-6 win over the Jets in Week 6.

It was a game of redemption for both Ryan Clark and Cortez Allen. The Steelers' starting free safety and slot cornerback, respectively, rebounded from poor performances against the Vikings in Week 4 to earn the top defensive grades for the Steelers in their 19-6 win over the Jets in Week 6.

Pro Football Focus evaluates each player's performance in each play of every game.

Antonio Brown led the offense with a +4.3 grade after a nine-catch performance in the win. Brown tied Hines Ward for the most catches over a three-game stretch with 30 since Week 3.

Clark had the team's first takeaway of the season, an interception in the third quarter. Allen looked particularly strong against the run, but allowed two catches in four targets in the game. He was beaten twice by the Vikings for touchdowns.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger earned a +3.8 grade for his efforts in the win.

Right tackle Marcus Gilbert earned the lowest grade on the team, -3.1, struggling quite a bit in the run game.
