Isaac Redman Released

With the news of Isaac Redman being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers, it comes as no surprise for those who've watched the team as of late. With the emergence of Le'Veon Bell, Redman has seen his chance to start, let alone play dwindle after claiming to be concussed in a week 2 loss vs. Cincinnati Bengals. So far Bell has shown this season that he can give the Steelers consistent and tough yards when needed, which we have lacked from the running back position since Willie Parker's three 1,000 yard seasons. Although Redman showed promise in the 2011-12 NFL season his inability to take the chances he was given, fumbles and the drama brought on by him announcing to media outlets that he received a concussion led to a disagreement between he and the Steelers organization which ultimately led to his departure.
