A Tale of Four Cities

I had drafted an outline for what I thought would amount to an interesting post comparing the winless teams going into Week 5. I had liberally quoted some Dickens, threw in a heaping dash of resurrection themes, provided notes on how past performance doesn't necessarily predict future returns...and then my mom called, which led to a two hour conversation about everything except for football, mostly about my fortieth birthday this year and if I had enough to eat.

And on that note (i.e. announcing to the world "I'm a 40-year old mamma's boy!"), here's a look at the statistics that don’t matter for the four winless NFL teams.
