Winners and Losers from Steelers win over Buffalo in Week 10

Vincent Pugliese

While the Steelers' defense shined as a unit, completely shutting Buffalo's offense down, the offense had a few individual stars in this game.

Winners

Antonio Brown - Contributed both as a receiver and a punt returner in this game. Not that he doesn't usually but he was particularly explosive - two big receptions for the bulk of his 104 yards and a punt return he nearly broke for a touchdown. Clearly too much for Buffalo's secondary to handle.

Ramon Foster - The road-grading guard the Steelers hoped he would be. He was injured again, but he highlighted a first half in which the Steelers ground Buffalo down, picking up 99 yards rushing and grabbing a 10-3 lead.

David DeCastro - The Steelers missed him last week in a listless offensive performance for much of the game. Clearly, the interior of the line is led by the play, and presence, of David DeCastro.

LaMarr Woodley - Before a calf injury took him out of the game, Woodley was dominant against the run, and helped push the pocket in the passing game, helping contribute to a miserable passing performance for E.J. Manuel.

Losers

Guy Whimper - Struggled both at right tackle for a spell for Marcus Gilbert and at left guard for Foster.

Kelvin Beachum - He is consistently beat off the edge, today wasn't any different. While the interior of the offensive generally did well against the run and not so well in pass pro, the Steelers tackles got roughed up in this game.
