Never have I been more scared for a players life than I was last night. Mainly it was because I thought he had been tackled in his helmet less head. The fact that this is a 21 year old kid with the heart of a lion is just magnificent. A boy became a man in this game.
All I can say is this. This kid deserves a Super Bowl ring. He has the same heart as a hall of famer would. Leveon Bell kept us in that game. He ran, blocked, caught, etc. It's almost wrong that we lost cause Bell sure as hell didn't look like a loser. The refs deserved to give Bell that TD and the fact they didn't in that situation is wrong. The rule didn't affect Bells injury. I'm sorry that the refs are too stupid to not understand that plays aren't frozen in place when the helmet comes off. Gravity is gravity. I get that it's the rules but on that play, the rule helped about as much as the tuck rule.
This play and this man should be carved in stone into steelers lore. Playoffs or not. Bell was worth the pick. At that point I could care less we lost. The ravens are almost guaranteed to lose at least two of their next few games, and we have a capable enough schedule ahead. Of course we should still worry about injuries.
Fact is, steeler fans should pay less attention to Suisham and sanders idiocy and more on our franchise rookie.
