Here is my second mock draft.
To start, the Steelers are going to face severe cap hits this year from many veterans. This is going to force them to make some tough decisions. First and foremost, I think they should cut Ike Taylor. He's done at this point in his career and has been torched by many receivers. If the Steelers cut him, they have to look in the draft for a ball-hawk corner, and they should address this position in the second round. In addition, we need a true 3-4 technique nose tackle. McClendon has done an admirable job, but shifting him to his more natural position of DE would be a better fit. Instead of looking in the draft, the Steelers can find somebody in free agency. I like Paul Soliai out of Miami. He still has some years left in the tank and can make a big impact on the defense. Furthermore, at tackle, the Steelers have Marcus Gilbert, who is actually quite impressive this year (just needs to improve on run blocking), and Beachum and Adams. They also acquired Levi Brown, who may work out at left tackle next year. Lastly, I think the Steelers should cut Ryan Clark. He has been awful this year and has obviously lost a step. It's time for new blood in the Steeler's secondary.
