The Steelers had what many would call "ideal" weather conditions in their game Sunday against the visiting Miami Dolphins. They came out doing what we all expected them to do on a snowy Sunday in the 'Burgh. Against the Dolphins , the Steelers started their first drive running the ball down the Dolphins throats. Handing the rock to rookie Le'Veon "Bell Dozer " Bell eight times on a twelve play drive that resulted in a touchdown score for the Steelers seemed to be a formula that worked. So why , then , was the formula abandoned in a game in which the Steelers would eventually lose 34-28?

Frustration , whether from the loss or the scheme being abandoned is evident in both the rookie running back and the team's franchise quarterback as stated below:

"Their scheme , I don't know, there was no particular reason." No idea . Coach Haley's over there you can ask him!" were two quote from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger . After those statements , which were in response to questions of why the Steelers abandoned the run game with Bell which worked in the first half, Ben pointed and "tersely " directed the reporters to offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Bell, on the other hand , just shook his head when asked why he vanished from the scene on a day in which was made for the Steelers to lean on the rookie to reinvigorate the run game.

The problem in Pittsburgh is not Roethlisberger or Bell , it is Haley .Where former offensive coordinator Bruce Arians allowed Roethlisberger to call his own plays and lean on his innate strengths, Haley 's attack plan has lacked rhythm and often deviated from focusing on what's working in game far too often The Steelers on Sunday , abandoned the run, but not the head scratching and criticism on calls made by Haley. Trailing 31-28 on their own 10 yard line with 2:53 left, the Steelers dialed up three straight pass plays before finally going for it on fourth down. That came with two timeouts left and the two minute warning ahead. The Steelers failed to convert , handing the Dolphins the ball, , the game and ......the season .

It's hard to imagine , envision or in reality see any chance od "Haley & Ben : Part 3" in 2014!
