Ladies and Germs, it is I your Jester of the dungeon Webslasher. I am sorry for my hiatus but most of you at BTSC that keep in touch with me, know that 2012 was/is if not one of the worst years of my life. It hasn't gotten any better with my Grandfather undergoing a triple bypass today. On top of nearly 600 plus dollars in court costs from my car accident and 20 hrs. of community service to add the frosting to the cake to round off the end of this lovely month. But where are my manners, we have come to discuss something here in Steeler Nation that has us all pissed off. I have a based opinion, is shall be blunt and brief, but most of you will know the point. By the way, it's great to be back...Nothing but love as usual for you folks and BTSC. Of course I want to introduce to you a new segment of mine REVAMPING STEEL 1.0 The question is:

HOW DO WE REVAMP THE STEEL?

My opinion:

I'm predicting it now...Steelers will be back in business when they get rid of Mendenhall, Wallace, Batch, Leftwich, and others...Draft a RB, FS, WR, QB, OLB, ILB, and DE. (In that order), get younger on the d-line, better conditioning/off season training to reduce injuries and GET A BOOT UP Mike Tomlin's ASS...The Chin handed Tomlin a team to compete for Super Bowls for years to come, now that most of Cowher's team is gone or close to retirement. We shall see the meddle of this coach, and his draft picks/decisions. So far he has divided this team by not being a coach and more of a friend to his players. Horrible coaching in embarassing losses (i.e. Titans, Raiders, and Browns) playing down to a shit teams level is unacceptable. In all honesty, I don't see Coach Dad getting wasted with his d-line. Why not say fire Todd Haley? Perfect reason...Haley has only been with this team for a season, it will take 2-3 years to complete and know his complex offensive play style and callings. For those who want Arians back, let's see how he does as HC in Burgh West. Whiz's HC skills hasn't done squat for Zona since Kurt Warner retired and I believe he is a hell of a OC just not a mastermind as a HC. Some might argue the fact that I am wrong but this is my opinion...We have to be able to compete with Cincy and the Ravens, although I believe that the Ravens will feel the heat if they sign Flacco to 20 mil a year. But do it...go ahead, that will put a smile on my face. See trying to retain players even with restructuring, they will be over the cap faster than you can say AFC NORTH. The rivalry will still continue with every team (especially the best rivalry in football 4.1.2. vs. 4.1.0.) in one of the best divisions out there if not the best (I'm looking at you NFC Least). Cincy's time has come and that has me worried. Although I am a homer, I go on record stating the Steelers will right the ship and get back to STEELERS FOOTBALL. 10-6 wildcard slot. Possibly get # 7, go ahead doubters grill me, but it has been done (05 Steelers, 07/12 Giants and this past years SB champ Ravens.). The waiting game commences...
