Seriously. Sometimes (well a lot of the time) sports media really ruins football for me with the crap that they can get away with. Why can't you just let us enjoy watching our team play instead of having to make everything so melodramatic? Every single little comment made by a member of the organization needs to be over-analyzed and taken out of context. Each and every one of these so-called "experts" feel the need to twist the facts and act like they know something about a team or a player when you really don't.
To you fans out there who take this all WAY too seriously, let me tell you something. Football conversations (like all sports conversations in general) are completely subjective (based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions). Too many people live vicariously with football and act like their entire well-being is based on whether or not their favorite team wins games. Getting all worked up over something like football isn't going to do you any good. A .500 season isn't something to get worked up about. Take some time to step back from everything and realize that football isn't the only thing in life. If the Steelers win the Super Bowl, great. If they don't, oh well we will come back next year. If we happen to get the #1 pick int he NFL Draft, deal with it, it isn't the end of the world. We have had the #1 pick in the NFL Draft before and he ended up being the QB that won us 4 of our 6 Super Bowls.
All I am asking is that you idiots who put on the doom and gloom attitude and everything need to cool your jets and get over yourselves. Quit buying into all of this media sensationalism bull-crap. Thank you for your time.
