The links between the Steelers and free agent running backs isn't slowing down.
While previously it was Beanie Wells, now, it's former Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bradshaw had 1,015 yards and six touchdowns rushing last year, and added 245 yards in the air. His all-around ability could be an intriguing fit to a currently size-heavy backfield.
The Steelers gave restricted free agents Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer original round tender offers, meaning they are on the hook for approximately $2.6 million guaranteed in 2013.
Neither Redman nor Dwyer were able to play in all 16 games last year. Both played well at times, and didn't play well in others. Bradshaw isn't known for consistency or health, either. He's coming off a second foot surgery in as many years, but with 23 touchdowns the last three years with the pass-heavy Giants, it's clear to see why some teams would still have interest in seeing if he still can produce at a higher level.
Bradshaw signed a 4-year, $18 million contract with the Giants in 2011, but the emergence of David Wilson in New York, and Bradshaw's injuries made him expendable.
