Video: What does William Gay's signing mean for the future of the Steelers roster?

The Steelers recently signed cornerback William Gay to a 3-year, $4.5 million contract with a $500,000 signing bonus. Does that speak to current negotiations with Keenan Lewis?

What exactly is in store for newly signed cornerback William Gay? The Steelers have yet to sign unrestricted free agent Keenan Lewis to a long-term deal, and the question of whether Gay was signed to replace him or just bolster depth at a position that needed it last season surfaces.

Gay didn't fare well in Arizona - the team with which he signed before the 2012 season after spending five years in Pittsburgh. All reports indicate he's excited to be back, but his three-year, $4.5 million deal with a $500,000 signing bonus places him in an interesting spot. Is he Lewis's replacement, the nickel back when Cortez Allen fills Lewis's starting position or just a fourth cornerback on a team that fell apart at the position down the stretch?

Those questions and more in the latest video from Behind The Steel Curtain.
