A highlight from Williams taken from the Senior Bowl practices this January, he crushes a pulling guard much to the approval of everyone listening.
This is a man's hit. It appears Clemson's Dalton Freeman (who went undrafted and signed with the Jets) isn't really in a great position to hit Williams, who's coming unexposed into the B gap. The sound of the hit - as well as the audible gasp of network analyst Mike Mayock - is inspiring to those who like hard-hitting football.
The best part, though, is the fact Williams levels a 300-pound interior linemen, and then he still tries to get Stanford's Stepfan Taylor, who bounced back inside (they were live on the line but backs weren't to be tackled). After a hit like that, most guys would be starry-eyed enough to not even notice the ball carrier is there. Williams almost made the play as well.
