In a difficult off-season for Pittsburgh Steelers fans, a championship roster has suffered the departures of key components from campaigns-past. In an effort to fortify the ranks, the team brought back a few prodigal sons; which left many on lookers either scratching or shaking their heads.
Apparently, the Steelers will give a job to anyone now.
Actually, they will.
More accurately, Heinz Field will, by hosting a public job fair accepting applications for part-time event-day employment, according to a press release posted on Steelers.com. The event will be held in the Hyundai Club West Lounge at the stadium, and will be spread across two days - Thursday, April 11th and Saturday, the 13th.
While most Steelers fans would begin to hyper-salivate over the idea of being paid by the team to attend their games live, those chosen will be employed by the stadium, not the football organization. Heinz Field hosts not only the Steelers, but also Pitt University and various public events, like concerts and job fairs.
Jobs available include event security, concessions and elevator operators; and many more. Check the official release here for the full details.
