Look kids, Big Ben...Parliament

USA TODAY Sports

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger visits his namessake, Big Ben, in London for promotional material for the Steelers' Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was with team communications coordinator Burt Lauten in London, filming promos for the Steelers' Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

They got stuck in a roundabout, with Lauten pointing out Big Ben, held in Elizabeth Tower right outside the Palace of Westminster in London.

That's a dumb and easy joke, but a required one nonetheless. Required, as far as a story regarding the Steelers quarterback posing for photos in front of the 150-year-old clock and tower are concerned.

What's more revealing is Roethlisberger's response to London media, asking him what motivates him today.

As quoted by Lauten:

That's three more rings for Roethlisberger, whose Steelers are looking to rebound from an 8-8- season in 2012.

Big Ben is technically the name of the bell inside Elizabeth Tower, but Big Ben got a bell this offseason when the Steelers drafted workhorse running back Le'Veon Bell in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The Steelers lacked a consistent running back, which was exaggerated by inconsistent run blocking.

Roethlisberger has shown he has the talent to lead his team to a championship, but like any team, he'll need the complimentary pieces around him.

Does he have it now?
