Thank you Homer J

I much appreciated the post by Homer J yesterday. I have sorely missed his commentary. I actually laughed out loud reading it and it was the first time since Sunday afternoon. It felt good.

In Season Six Dexter tells us that we all have a "dark passenger". Mine started whispering to me right after the 2013 NFL draft when Pittsburgh failed to draft an O Lineman for a unit that desperately needed help. Then I started reading about a UDFA from San Diego State that was doing great things in preseason. A fellow they called Ebernasty! Then the whisper was heard again. Knee injury, out for the year. My dark passenger laughed all Sunday afternoon. But I laughed on Monday. Thanks Homer J.

On the bright side, my favorite college running back from Sam Houston State had a great day against Texas A&M even though the team lost. Tim Flanders (two time All American and two time Walter Payton Award finalist) had 200 yards against the Aggies (178 on the ground) and three touchdowns. I like to refer to him as Timmy Football. I do believe he will be drafted in 2014. I would love it if the Steelers got him.
