NFL Offense Off the Charts

The NFL is breaking records for offensive yards and points this season. I find it ironic that we are setting franchise records for offensive ineptitude (mainly rushing game). I keep hearing we need to be a rushing football team, and I agree we do need to run the ball effectively. The future of the NFL is throwing the football, and I wonder if we (fans, Roonies etc...) are looking to past glories instead of moving forward. I think we need to throw the ball as much as possible for three reasons. The first reason and most obvious is that we can't run the ball! The second reason is our best player, the QB. It seems like the team does really well in the hurry up/no huddle mode. The third reason is we need to score points. Teams are scoring more points than ever and it's obvious we are going to need to score more points than ever to win games.
