If I were Mike Tomlin, the first thing I would do is send a string message and that would entail sitting Ryan Clark and playing the "Shark". That would open up some eyes and get the attention of some of the veterans on the team. I hear them telling rookies not to play ping pong etc. They aren't doing shit on the field, there isn't any leadership. I love Ryan Clark, so don't get me wrong, this is not a vendetta or anything.
Secondly, I would move Adams to right tackle and Gilbert to left, nothing can go worse than it is now. Adams can block someone when he gets his hands on them but he can't get his hands on these quick off the edge players. If you noticed when Haley finally got some chips on Allen so he was bounced back into Adams, he handled him with ease.
Third thing is I would use Bell a lot more, he is a horse and we need him or the threat of him on the field, nobody respects our run game right now until they say a bit of him on Sunday.
Fourth thing, is tell Haley to open up the offense and let Ben go no huddle when he wants and put Wheaton in the game. The weapons are there now with Health, Bell, Saunders, Brown, Cotchery and even we can throw in the Johnson's with some passes to the FB and TE. That's a pretty diverse set of weapons to choose from...now we need a plan, tell Haley to get his shit together.
I would also sit down and find out why are we being gashed on the run and get the kid Williams straightened out at MLB, he can play and tackle but he missing tackles...Sean Spence where are you?
Special teams has been the strength of the team so far and that's odd.
