Two more new names were connected with the Steelers via reports on Twitter on Thursday by Bo Marchionte from the website College2Pro.com and also on Yardbarker.com
These official visits have not been confirmed yet by Steelers Digest editor Bob Labriola, the source who's become something of the official keeper of prospect visit news.
Nick Williams transferred to North Alabama after playing three years at Georgia as a strong safety. He sat out in 2011 as a redshirt at North Alabama and suffered a season ending injury in 2012 before coming back to have a solid season in 2013. He has good size at 6-foot-2 and weight at 219 but would be considered on the slow size for his position relative to others and would be expected to be a late round selection on day three of the draft. From his film Williams looks like he enjoys delivering a hit but having started his college career in 2008 will be at little older than many others in his class and that may drop his stock a little more along with the injury and transfer history he carries.
Lawrence Martin from South Florida is another unheralded player that has spent time as a right guard, fullback and tight end although given his size 6-foot-3 and 316 it is hard to imagine him as anything but an OG at the professional level. In 2013 he started the year at guard before seeing time at fullback and tight end the rest of the season. He spent only two years at South Florida having attended Merced College and Georgia Military College previously. Much like Nick Williams he would be expected to be a late round selection on day three of the draft.
