Remember 2010 when we had too many outstanding OLBs and we had to let Thaddeus Gibson go? The coaching staff was distraught because he was such a stand out. The 49ers scooped him up right away, but then he struggled to stick. He seemed to learn the defense quickly that off-season and he could be scooped up for a low cost as a DE to OLB prospect. I say we bring him back in for another shot. We need the depth at OLB and he could be hungry enough to be a break-out player.
