Senior Bowl Players as it looks for the Steelers from my eyes and yours

I watched the Senior Bowl with my mind fixed on the needs of the Steelers and the players that could help from what I saw. Here are my observations and i am looking to see what you thought also. First of all the South D, I would take them all, a really good bunch of players on the defensive side of the ball for the South.

Dee Ford from Auburn is an absolute stud and could fit into our 3-4 system right away, it might take him time to learn the D but put him in there on clear passing situations and let him feed on quarterbacks. It looked like he also can set the edge to force RBs in the running game....I really liked him. The other LBs I liked were Kyle Van Noy from Utah, he seemed really quick on the edge and would be worth consideration if we miss on Dee Ford. I also liked Michael Sam from Missouri but to play inside rather than outside, he is big and strong at 6'2" 255 lbs.

There are a number of DBs that I liked from watching the game, Pierre Desir a small school guy from Lindenwood made a impression and had a pick during the game, big at 6'2" and 206, he reminds my of Cortez Allen. Stanley Jean-Baptiste from Nebraska looked good also, another big corner at 6'3" and 220 lbs. The last one that I liked at the position was Keith McGill from Utah at 6'3" and 205 lbs. It will be interesting to see how fast these guys run at the combine, but it looks like there are a number of good DBs that will be available to the Steelers in the draft.

I liked Kevin Norwood the WR from Alabama 6'2", I think he played well and has the speed to get deep, his route running might need some help but he looked really good to me on Saturday. His 40 time at the combine becomes important to him and could land him high on the draft charts.

I didn't see a dominant NT there, I heard about Justin Ellis and watched to see if he made any splash plays but was disappointment from what I saw. On the DL I like what I saw from Caraun Reid from Princeton, very quick and shoots the gaps well...an interesting tweener would be Ik Enemkpali from Lousiana Tech 6'1" and around 250 lbs, this is the type of guy we usually draft and switch to outside LB, he really looks quick and strong coming off the edge.

The last player that I liked in a position of need for the Steelers is OT/OG Zack Martin from Notre Dame 6'4" and 305 lbs, he blocked well in pass protection for the most part.

This is the year we should restock the D and go after the big WR...I truly believe some of these guys could help us...looking to see your thoughts from the game.
